Timothy Kimo Brien has over 20 years of creating art in many disciplines. A teacher and artist, he wants to help you create more than you consume.

Timothy started Podcasting back in 2006 with his show KDOI (Kimo's Den of Iniquity) where he completed 65 episodes of poetry readings and an improv sketch comedy show.

In 2016 he attended meetups for Podcasting led by Kyle Bondo and revised the show and completed 45 episodes in 3 seasons where he reformatted the show as an interview/project/conversation podcast. Joining up with Kyle and GAGGLEPOD Studios, Tim became the co-host of Podwrecked.

Podwrecked is a show about helping listeners survive their podcast by providing tips, advice and commentary to help others avoid the Podwrecks of failed podcasts.

Timothy recieved his MFA in Theater Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2003 and his BA in Theater Production from Southern Illinois University in 2000. During his academic years he was part of over 100 productions on the main stage and student led productions.

As Veteran Liason for Warrior Art Studio and Veteran Art Project in 2009 until 2012, Timothy partnered with Chicago artists in multiple disciplines to provide a space for Veterans to share their stories and heal the wounds of war. This culminated in a production of a portion of his play Green Curtain by American Blues Theater in their Ripped series in 2010. Timothy also became a member of Salsation, a Latino Sketch Comedy troupe in Chicago where he teamed up with Ramon Charriez to create the Word Up Poetry/Improv slam in 2011.
